Multiflora is a puzzle app for playing and creating Rows Garden puzzles, available as a web app at multiflora.app and as a mobile app. It is made by Happy Heart Software ("we", "us") and is designed to work without collecting personal data.
Both the web app and the mobile app use Umami, an open-source analytics tool we run ourselves on our own server — not a third-party analytics company. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not assign you any persistent identifier, so there is nothing that could link separate visits back to you individually or follow you to other sites. It records, in aggregate: which pages or screens were viewed, referrer (what link or app brought you here, if any), general browser/OS/device type, approximate country (derived from your IP address at the moment of the request, then discarded), and screen size. It also records which features get used — for example opening or completing a puzzle, using word lookup, saving or sharing a puzzle, or changing a setting — as fixed categories and counts only, never the puzzle's own content (titles, clues, answers) or anything you've typed. It also records, as a plain yes/no with no other detail, whether the home screen's welcome message was shown — this just reflects whether your device already had a saved puzzle at the time (unrelated to the cookie-free, no-persistent-ID design above, since it can't be tied to you individually or across visits either). This tells us which parts of the app people actually use, without identifying who used them.
Your puzzle progress, solving times, and app settings are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. Puzzle files you open or create stay on your device. Uninstalling the app (or clearing site data in your browser) removes this data; we have no copy of it.

If you choose to use the in-app feedback form, the message you write (and any name or email address you enter) is sent to Heartforms, our own form service hosted on Cloudflare, which saves it and emails it to our support inbox so that we can read and respond. Unless you uncheck the option to include diagnostic details, the message also includes the app version, the screen size, your browser's user agent, any recent error messages from the app, and the title, author and size of the puzzle you had open (if any). Feedback is never shared with third parties, and sending it is entirely optional.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at multiflora.app/privacy.html with a new effective date.
